Workers with a formal contract from all over the country can now withdraw the PIS Extra Salary Bonus published by the Caixa Econômica Federal. The state bank said the extra batch would be paid out to around 1.1 million people.

Resources refer to old values that were corrected or no longer redeemed between the years 2016 and 2020, when certain payout rounds were made. These calendars are already closed, but the person concerned still has the possibility of withdrawing the money.
The deposit was made to Caixa accounts in the worker’s name and to digital social savings accounts opened automatically in the Caixa Tem app. To check the values, simply access the Caixa Tem or Caixa Trabalhador apps, or call 111.

Employees who meet all of the conditions below are eligible for the Supplementary Wage Allowance:
- Be registered with the PIS for at least five years;
- Have received, on average, up to two monthly minimum wages;
- Have worked with a formal contract for at least 30 days, consecutive or not;
- Have the correct information in the annual social information report (RAIS) or e-Social.
The maximum amount that each citizen can receive is a minimum salary (R$1,212), which varies according to the number of months worked in the year considered for the calculation. According to Caixa, the average amount available is R$398.99 per person.
