The screen of the iPhone 13 measures 6.1 inches, an intermediate ratio between the iPhone 13 Pro Max panel of 6.7 inches and the 5.4 inches of the Mini version. With a Full HD+ resolution (1170 x 2532 pixels), the smartphone displays images with great sharpness and contrast through the OLED panel. The model has 460 pixels per inch, which gives good readability. On the other hand, it does not incorporate a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a feature that was expected since the iPhone 12.

The design takes the molds known to the public since the iPhone X. Without significant changes, the 2021 version brings a wide notch and proportions of 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.65 mm. The device also inspired the iPhone 14, released this year. Consumers should be warned that even with almost imperceptible changes from generation to generation, it is not possible to use the iPhone 14 case in the predecessor.

Discover six facts about the iPhone 13

One of the highlights of the iPhone 13 is the photography layout, which adds two lenses to the back. With different sensors, the set is organized as follows:

  • 12 MP main and f/1.6 aperture
  • 12 MP ultrawide and f/2.4 aperture
  • 12 MP front camera and f/2.2 aperture

Although both have 12 MP, one of them, the ultrawide, takes care of guaranteeing recordings with an enlarged capture angle. This diversifies the possibility of clicks.

The iPhone brings optical stabilization by moving the sensor, an indispensable tool for those who appreciate less shaky photos and videos.

Still in this sense, we can cite the Cinema Mode, which appeared in the 2021 generation and which multiplies the films recorded with Apple phones. With the tool, the user can blur the background of people and objects for a more professional look. Recordings are usually made in 4K resolution (up to 60 frames per second).

The iPhone 13 spec sheet includes the A15 Bionic processor, also from 2021. With advances over the previous generation, it has six cores in total, two for performance and the other four for efficiency energy. The component is so powerful that it also appears in the iPhone 14 successor.

The iPhone 13 has 4 GB of RAM, according to estimates from specialized sites. Apple does not disclose the information. When working in conjunction with the A15, the phone should perform concurrent tasks without stuttering.

There are three storage options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Users looking for plenty of space for files and apps should consider a larger model, as there’s no room for expansion. via a microSD card.

As in the case of RAM, there are no official figures on the battery capacity of the smartphone. However, some tests carried out with the model suggest a component of 3,204 mAh.

One of the highlights in this regard is the fast charge, 20W, which promises to take the battery from zero to 50% in 30 minutes. Another form of allowed charging is wireless, via MagSafe, Apple’s wireless replacement technology introduced in the iPhone 12.

It is important to remember that Apple does not include a charger in the iPhone box. Even after entanglements with Brazilian justice, the Cupertino giant continues without offering a wall adapter to customers who buy their smartphones.

iPhone 13 comes with iOS 15 out of the box. On the other hand, it is capable of running the latest system version, iOS 16. As per Apple’s broad update policy, it should be eligible to receive some of the future software updates from Apple.

In current iOS 16, users get features like lock screen customization. Recently released, the feature has already become popular with fans and allows you to add widgets to the page, change the clock font and the depth of images on the panel.

It is also allowed to use the iPhone as a webcam, modify the message sent by iMessage and the features of Safari.
