Shopee, the Singaporean e-commerce platform owned by Sea Group, has announced the opening of applications for the first edition of its internship program. There are opportunities for university students from different fields, interested and available to work in the hybrid work modality, with face-to-face activities twice a week at the company’s headquarters, located in the city of São Paulo. At least 50% of vacancies are for black and brown people.
Higher education students enrolled in bachelor’s, licentiate’s and technologist courses are eligible, with graduation expected between December 2023 and December 2024. Shopee does not require English language proficiency of applicants, but it is important that they are available for a six-hour internship per day during opening hours.
Approved individuals will be assigned to areas of operations, commerce, product, data intelligence, human resources, finance and marketing. During the program, interns will have the opportunity to discover the daily life of the company and participate in the expansion of Shopee in Brazil, with activities and training that will ensure accelerated learning.
